The Golden State Warriors (GSW) have a decided advantage in taking the NBA Finals which begins in a few hours in the Bay area.  With the leadership of Dramond Green, the best long range shooters in the game in Stephan Curry and Klay Thompson, and the 2nd best player on the planet in Kevin Durant, this Warriors team has a starting line-up that can put the ball in the basket and stop the opponent in doing the same.  Golden State has, statistically, the best defense in the Association.  With enough supportive players on the roster, this series will be one for the Warriors to take and shake LeBron James and the Cleveland Cav’s defending champions off the podium.  It will not be easy as James leads a team loaded with its own talent in the names of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, and Tristian Thompson.  Any team with James at the head is dangerous and Cleveland will not let GSW take the series without a fight.  Very simply, the money is on the Warriors, most say in six games, with some calling it in five.  For me, the smart money says it will go no more than six for a Warriors win.  But my intuition says smart money is not always a winner.

My prediction:  Cleveland in seven

Never under-estimate Lebron James when he goes against Kevin Durant
