I just finished watching the latest movie version of Edgar Rice Burroughs’s Tarzan. It was not a bad flick considering it has been done better at least six times by Johnny Weissmuller, the great Olympic champion. With that, I know there will be another Tarzan movie down the road and this time I think it is time to play with Burroughs’s character and have the King of the Jungle played by a black actor. Now let us get this right. I know that the person that I am going to suggest is currently not an actor, but watching him for almost ten years on the court and in press conferences, this great talent on the hardwoods could pull it off. My choice? Russell Westbrook….the only man that has the physical attributes and most importantly, the attitude to play the part. What do you think sports fans? And movie buffs?
