The college football season for 2016 is history.  Congratulations to the Clemson Tigers and their outstanding quarterback, Deshaun Watson, for winning the College Playoff National Championship game in a tough fought nail biter over the always vibrant Alabama Crimson Tide.  The title game was the best contest of the season.  It proved that the ACC and Clemson were the best the game offered this season.

  1. Hey Fred, Certainly agree that Clemson will finally take a step back after an awesome 5 year run. However I cannot believe that you do not have Louisville in the Top 25 for your pre-season poll. Lamar Jackson should be reason enough to include them.
Really don’t an answer for you at this time, but really feel that Washington and USC will play larger roles in the top 4 in 2017. Interesting to see that you have 5 teams from the Big 12 !! Any logic to why so many when they play such a tough interlocking schedule ??

  2. Not impressed with Louisville and think somethings is going to happen to them that is not good. The Big 12 will be much better. All leagues play tough schedules but the Big 12 teams play everyone. The Big 12 has some very fine qb’s coming back and that will be a positive.

  3. Do not sleep on Clemson. Defense will be one of the best nationally. Watson is gone but play makers are not. As a lifelong Tiger, I believe the boys will end up in top 10 and on the edge of playoffs. IF one of these talented quarterbacks steps up and shows out, BEWARE. what you say.
