Baker Mayfield had a winning performance as Oklahoma held on and won in Fort Worth against TCU Saturday 52-46.  The junior quarterback threw for two scores and ran for two others as the Sooners put together the second and third quarters of dominating football to win.  The Frogs dominated the first and forth quarters in the close game.

Oklahoma State, now 2-2 for the season, put a nail in the coffin of Texas head coach with their 49-31 trashing of the Horns.  Texas is a bad football team on defense and their lack of basic tackling skills was eye-opening.  For the second straight week, Texas just didn’t have it.

West Virginia was a winner or Kansas State in Morgantown as the Mountaineer defense was good in the win.

Baylor scored a last play field goal to take a 45-42 in in Ames.  The Baylor defense was not good.
Kansas could not hold down Texas Tech as the Red Raiders took the home win.
