The week was exciting as Miami got off the snide with the ACC officials help to beat Duke.  The officials have been suspended.  Oklahoma State overcame three 17 point deficits in Lubbock to beat Texas Tech.  As I predicted Temple gave Notre Dame all  it wanted before falling to the Irish (and to all that said I was crazy to pick the Owls I was closer than your stupid remarks told me), and Washington State had Stanford on the ropes for over three quarters before losing, another close upset pick that didn’t come true.  It was a very good week in college ball.

Big 12

Oklahoma smashed Kansas as the Sooners showed they will be tough against Baylor, TCU and Oklahoma State.  Oklahoma is now a true player for the championship and a playoff birth.

TCU played their best game of the season in beating a good (yes good) West Virginia team.  The Frogs real season begins in Stillwater on Saturday.

Oklahoma State joined TCU, Baylor and OU as a big time scoring machine. TCU will have all it can handle.

Iowa State just plain beat the stuffing out of Texas.  Will Charlie Strong survive?  I think he’s the next coach at Miami (Fla).

Kansas State and Baylor didn’t play this week.
